The economy of Ukraine is slowly recovering after recession
21/09/2010
For 8 months of 2010 the industrial production in Ukraine has grew on 10,9 %. It is the first positive sign from real economy sector which gives hope of more reliable industry growth already before the end of the year. The government of Ukraine managed to stop economic recession and, most likely, the year 2010 will become a turn point for the Ukrainian industry. In the first half of the year 2010 recession in Ukraine was replaced by slow and uncertain recovery. Political stabilization and favorable situation in the foreign markets has been factors promoting this process.
The government of Ukraine has quite good chances to overcome negative tendencies. Renewal of cooperation program with IMF can be considered as main achievement of the government. Presence of external support in the conditions of uncertain situation inside the country will play a key role at next loans in foreign markets.
