Marioupol is the second best city in Ukraine as to its investment attractiveness for business

On June 25 Expert rating agency announced the assignment of uaAАА grade credit rating on national scale and uaA1 grade investment rating on Expert Rating scale. uaAАА grade credit rating means the highest level of the borrower's solvency in comparison with other Ukrainian borrowers and debt instruments. uaA1 grade rating of investment attractiveness means high level of investment attractiveness for development of the majority sectors of economy. Municipal economy is based on well diversified industrial sector. City goes very well with development of industrial branches directed on satisfaction of townspeople's demand.
Summarizing factors which made it possible to assign the city high rating grade Agency consider it necessary to point out following factors: 1. Concentration of large industrial enterprises in city gives the city authorities an opportunity to maintain a high level of both employment-population ratio and official average salary. 2. Deceleration rate of population size lessening over the past 5 years in comparison with the national average under the simultaneous growth of population well-being. 3. The being of stable tax base which makes it possible to form and execute the deficit-free budget and simultaneously to favour the expansion of municipal infrastructure. 4. Availability of both developed transport and municipal infrastructure and beneficial geographical and economical location ensure the successful implementation of any investment project. 5. Professionalism and consistency of city finance, implementation of a rather conservative financial policy directed on expansion of municipal infrastructure.
