More ››› 30/11/2009 Pi-rating of investment funds – 2009 #2 Expert Ukraiina weekly has published an annual regular pi-rating of investment funds by Expert-Rating, a rating agency (see Expert Ukraiina #46 (237), November 30th, 2009). The rating research has embraced those funds which information on pays and shares is being regularly published by an assets management company. Their number totaled 71 both corporate and share funds. More ››› 22/10/2009 The high national scale rating is was assigned to the VAB Bank of uaAA grade rating (high stability level) On October, 21th, 2009 the RA Expert Rating awarded the VAB Bank of aa grade rating (equal to uaAА grade in national scale). More ››› 12/10/2009 ‘The study of corporate links has shown that the default is endangering most of all the private banks dissociated from the unified European system’ The Rating Agency Expert Rating published a research evaluating the level of external support of the foreign banks working in Ukraine. The research allowed to reveal close ties between some international financial groups which position their branches in Ukraine as each others competitors. The knowledge of share capital structure of the foreign banks working in Ukraine will be useful not only to domestic financial regulators, but also to the establishment of these banks, to the insurers and large FIGs. More ››› 28/09/2009 Defaults of banks with foreign capital are possible in Ukraine! In September, 2009 Rating Agency ‘Expert Rating’ performed the study on the stability of the foreign banks working in Ukraine. The study has no analogues, and was the very first one in the history of Ukraine. The study was motivated by the absence in the market of accurate system of reference points which could be used by small companies and the population when assessing the level of external support which parent bank holdings can provide to their affiliated banks.
